Choosing the right Benidorm Campsite comes down to a list of important factors that are specific to what you’re looking for. But, most importantly, not all Benidorm Campsites are the same and you’ll need to way up the pros and cons of each to determine which is the best one for you. In addition to the important aspects of location, annual site fee costs and purchase costs, the most overlooked factor is the actual ‘feel’ of the campsite which you’ll only get by visiting each Benidorm campsite or joining Facebook groups and chatting with others. Campsite Site Fees

Campsite site fees vary by each Benidorm Campsite so you’ll need to ensure that you’re looking at campsites that fit within your estimated yearly budget. Annual site fees can start from as little as 3,000 € and go up to as much as 6,000 € and factors such as plot size and plot location will determine the cost. However, some Benidorm campsites will include an allowance of electricity within the plot price so this should be factored in as a saving against the overall annual plot price. Similarly, all Benidorm campsites include water usage free of charge and most campsites will supply your plot with a free TV connection supplying basic UK TV channels and a selection of European channels.

The Running Costs

The running costs on each Benidorm Campsite vary but the 3 main outgoings are site fees, electricity & gas. Firstly, the site fees will cover all of the usual things such as the use of facilities, communal charges and campsite maintenance. Secondly, the electricity charges range from 0,39 € per kw up to 0,45 € per kw and you only pay for what you use, with no standing charges on any of the campsites. Thirdly, all caravans are supplied by bottled gas, with the cost of a gas bottle determined by the current fuel prices at an average of 17€ per bottle. After that, you just have the usual day to day living costs which by comparison to the UK are still significantly lower.

‘Campsite’ is a loose term used to describe what we more commonly know as a caravan site or caravan park in the UK. But, this doesn’t tell the full story as to what a campsite in Benidorm actually is. Sure, when the campsites were first built they were built with the purpose of accommodating casual campers with touring caravans, tents & motorhomes.
